September is National Cholesterol Education Month, and everybody should really take advantage of the opportunity to get educated. For 2007 the theme is "Know your cholesterol numbers-Know your risk-Give yourself some TLC," which is very appropriate considering many Americans (women especially) don't know their own cholesterol counts.
